Description
I dug up an old artwork I did years ago of our old barn behind the house and have been able to turn it into a digital painting.
I had taken photos of it, then painted it, now have worked some texture into it with digital on the computer. So it is a combination of a lot of things and this is from way back in the 1990s.
This was in Caledon, Ontario Canada but eventually it collapsed - I remember there was a family of skunks inside - and so many loose boards and rotted it was too dangerous. So sad. Have been taking photos of barns and just painted a new one. Trying to keep them alive.
This is available as framed or unframed prints, canvas, acrylic and metal reproductions and cards from this website. Enjoy.

Obviously you were born with a talent too immense to be contained - this is exquisite and, yes, I love old barns and houses, too:>) Wonderful work and I think your love of subject shows.

Old houses, yes those too... Am trying to take pics of them as we whiz by in the car ! Some of the barns are gone now and those old pics I have are just what is left. I am trying to resurrect them by painting on canvas and on computer. We spent SO MANY HOURS playing in the wheat and the hay and chasing the chickens (yes, we got yelled at). And milking the cows and I even saw a calf being born. The smells - I love the smell of manure and fresh hay and dark earth and animals. I think I need to do a lot more of these ! Thanks Carol ;)
