Description
An interpretation of my walk with the dog through the woods. One of those days when everything is swirling in my head and peaceful and romantic and the air felt electric and it was a magical walk. As most of them are. The sky so blue and the trees and following the path of pine needles and feeling the sunshine.
Sometimes those days are just Van Gogh days. I wanted to do the blue skies (I love blue) and show the way it feels. And this one worked. I took some photos on the walk. I always do. My dog actually stops and waits while I take the pics - she poses if I point near her.
This is from a photo and she was off chasing something or running beside me but I was walking up hill and into the sunlight but feeling tired and a bit weary and yet very relaxed.
I think it is how some of those walks feel to me. Like a magical wonderful place where you disappear and the pain disappears and you feel like following the path and the dog is hopping along beside or in front of you and pulling and pulling...
We disappear into the blue skies and pine trees.
Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald and a few others sang this Blue Skies song and I used to love this song. Still enjoy it. Here are the lyrics. Maybe it would be fun to listen to the song while this art is there in your room and you will feel happy like I feel when I hear it or when I see this. It was fun to make it.
